“I’d have to say that the reason I decided to take Sacred Childbirth with Reiki Training is synchronicity. It began when I was browsing through a Reiki Magazine and noticed the ad. Almost immediately I thought, “it would be nice if the course was offered in Vancouver”. Three months later, I couldn’t believe it when I saw this course being offered in Vancouver Island! Of course, I signed up and attended the course with four other wonderful women.

The course was very intense but it helped me remove a lot of emotional blockages. I have four children – two of them were hospital births with nurses/doctors, one in a hospital with a midwife, and my youngest was born on the back seat of my car with my midwife (at a hospital parking-lot). I had a lot of traumas and fears associated with their birth. By the end of last day of the course, I was able to have all my birth stories reviewed and released negative emotions with the help of my classmates. I even re-patterned my own birth!

I remember feeling empowered and joyous, with a sense of serenity and clarity by the end of training. The best thing is the improved relationships with my children. By clearing the negative emotions with the birth experiences, the tension in the relationships somehow just dissolved away…

Another big change in my life is related to my work. In the past year, I had been working at a healing centre. After finishing this course I had a strong urge to terminate my work there and open my home practice. So I did and I am in the process of creating a Reiki Room now.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to participate in this course! I feel I was re-birthed (the way I want) to the world and am ready for my new beginning of my life-journey.
